Brian Potter is an interventional cardiologist, currently affiliated with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is also a visiting Scientist at the Center for Health Decision Science.
Brian received his MD,CM from McGill University in 2004 and his MSc in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2013. His research interests include the cost-effectiveness evaluation and health services research for transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), as well as the evaluation of alternative STEMI revascularization strategies and the optimal regionalization of acute cardiac care resources.
Brian is the current Chair of the Trainee Committee of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) and the Trainee Representative to CCS Council (2012-2014) and a past recipient of the CCS Trainee Excellence in Teaching Award.
