Damian Tago is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics under the supervision of Prof. James K. Hammitt and Prof. Alban Thomas. His research interests include animal health economics, public policy evaluation, and social network analysis. His current research is focused on the evaluation of policies to control infectious diseases in cattle combining econometric techniques and social network tools.
Damian obtained a B.A. in Economics with highest honors from ITAM in Mexico City. From 2006 to 2009 he worked in Evercore Casa de Bolsa in risk management and then he moved to France where he obtained his Master in Economic Theory and Statistics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
