Tzahit Simon-Tuval is an Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the Department of Health Systems Management, the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.

Tzahit’s study focuses on health services research, adherence of chronic patients to self-care behaviors, medical decision-making and outcomes research. Her previous appointment as a health economist in Clalit Health Services facilitated her involvement in research projects aiming at analyzing health services utilization patterns among various populations.    

Tzahit has a B.A. in Economics and Management, and a Master degree in Economics, both from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She also received her PhD degree in this institution and was awarded The Kreitman Foundation Fellowship during her studies. During 2008-2011 Tzahit had been acknowledged as outstanding lecturer and was granted The Professor Charles Roth Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2011.
