Amit Kumar is a 2nd year graduate student at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health pursing an MPH in the field of Health Policy. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning a BS in Physiological Science. While there, he conducted research in learning and memory neuroscience, community health, and health policy. Upon graduation, Amit worked at an autoimmune clinic in Beverly Hills called Attune Health as a clinical research coordinator, conducting research on rheumatic diseases including gout, lupus, and rheumatoid/psoriatic arthritis. Most recently, Amit spent the summer in Jackson, Mississippi developing policy measures designed to improve mental health outcomes among foster children.

In his spare time, Amit enjoys cooking, working out, and watching sports.
