Prosser Honored by SMDM for Distinguished Service

CHDS affiliate Lisa Prosser received the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) Award for Distinguished Service at the 45th North American meeting in Philadelphia in October, 2023. The award recognizes “distinguished leadership, operational, scientific educational service” to the society.

Prosser has been a member of SMDM since 1996. Over the years, Prosser has served as president and vice president, and roles including co-Chair of the Scientific Review Committee, Abstract Reviewer, Chair of Publications Committee, member of Editor-in-Chief Search Committee, and as  mentor for many in the society.. During her time as president, Prosser co-led the task force for the Society’s most recent strategic plan. She is a previous recipient of SMDM’s John M. Eisenberg Award for Practical Application of Medical Decision Making Research (2018).
