Verguet Honored for Mentoring

CHDS faculty Stéphane Verguet received the Harvard Chan School Mentoring Award in recognition of his enrichment of the academic, professional, or personal development of students, based on student nominations.

Verguet is Associate Professor of Global Health in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He teaches two modeling courses, GHP 501: Modeling for Health System Analysis & Priority Setting and GHP 201: Advanced Modeling for Health System Analysis & Priority Setting. His research interests include health economics, cost-effectiveness analysis, equity, and health systems performance. In addition to his contributions to teaching and mentorship, Verguet serves on numerous committees at the School, and has been Principal Investigator on grants for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the World Food Programme; GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance; and the Bergen Research Foundation, among others
