The Center for Health Decision Science (CHDS) community works to improve population health through decision science research, education and policy translation.
We use decision science approaches, and develop novel methods, to address contemporary clinical and public health problems with significant health, quality of life, and/or economic consequences.
We teach and train scholars and practitioners from different academic disciplines, preparing a new generation of decision scientists to tackle contemporary health challenges.
We work to achieve impact through stakeholder engagement, cross-sectoral communication, and interdisciplinary dialogue – all necessary for effective policy translation.
