The Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis offers its inaugural Outstanding Dissertation Award to recognize an outstanding PhD thesis dealing with the theory and/or practice of benefit-cost analysis. The recipient will receive a $1,000 cash prize and recognition at the annual SBCA meeting. He/she will also be encouraged to submit a paper based on the dissertation to the Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis, which will undergo the standard journal peer-review process.
The application deadline is 5pm EST, October 1, 2018. The award will be made annually and future deadlines will be announced.
