Fangli Geng, 3rd-year doctoral student in Decision Sciences/Health Policy, chaired the organizing committee for “Global Symposium: Post-acute Care and Rehabilitation during COVID-19 Pandemic” presented on June 14th, 2020 to over 740K viewers globally. The aim of the symposium was to build a bridge of knowledge sharing among leading international experts to better face the new challenge of significantly increasing demands for post COVID-19 care and rehabilitation. The symposium gathered 12 experts from China, the United States, and Europe.
Moderated by Adelina Comas-Herrera, from London School of Economics and Political Science, speakers included: Joseph Ouslander from Florida Atlantic University, David Grabowski from Harvard Medical School, Vincent Mor from Brown University, Wilco Achterberg from Leiden University Medical Center, Till Bärnighausen from Heidelberg University, Martin Knapp from London School of Economics and Political Science, Jianan Li from Jiangsu Province Hospital, Lei Zhao from Union Hospital (Wuhan), Zhanchun Feng from Huazhong University of Science & Technology (Wuhan), Jian Wang from Wuhan University, Tingjun Liu from Taikang Insurance Group Co., Ltd.
