Spring Visitor Introduction

CHDS welcomes Tiange Chen this spring. Chen is a visiting PhD student from Peking University.  While at CHDS she will be working on a project evaluating the cost-effectiveness of GLP-1 drugs on obesity in China, under the guidance of CHDS’s Ankur Pandya.

Chen has an MPH from Yale University and a BA from Peking University. She has a background in health economics, quantitative policy evaluation, and biostatistics. Her previous research includes evaluating the effect of increasing health taxes and assessing the equity of health financing in China, as well as applying machine learning methods to predict and interpret disease risks.
